Legacy on Liberty
Restoration Storytelling for an 1881 Family Home
Legacy on Liberty is an ongoing creative direction project for my family’s 1881 home in Springfield, Ohio. Because the restoration is still in progress, I’m using AI-generated imagery as an early-stage visual research tool, similar to a Pinterest board or concept deck.
Through AI moodboarding, I’m exploring how the home could feel once restored: layered, lived-in, historic, feminine, and rooted in family legacy. The AI visuals are not meant to represent completed rooms. Instead, they help shape the mood, atmosphere, and visual identity of the project as the real restoration continues.
This project follows each room from early documentation to sketch, illustration, AI mood study, and final real-world completion.
Kitchen: The First Proof of Concept
The kitchen was the first room that made Legacy on Liberty feel real. After the flooring was installed, I could finally see the home’s potential. This room became the starting point for a larger creative direction project rooted in restoration, family history, and visual storytelling.
