Learn the computer skills everyday life expects you to know.
Community Digital Literacy is a proposed free, beginner-friendly learning program designed to make everyday technology feel more understandable, useful, and less intimidating.
Nobody should be made to feel behind because they were never taught.
Technology now touches almost everything: applying for work, communicating with schools and doctors, sending documents, completing forms, managing files, accessing services, and simply staying connected.
But knowing how to use a computer is often treated as if everyone naturally learned it somewhere along the way.
Not everyone did.
Community Digital Literacy is being developed as a patient, practical, and judgment-free place for people to learn the digital skills they want and need at their own pace.
You do not have to already be “good with computers.” That is the whole point.
Practical skills for real life.
Final class topics will be shaped by what community members say they actually need help with.
Tell us what would actually help.
Before the program is finalized, community input matters.
This short survey helps determine what people want to learn, current comfort levels with computers, preferred class times, technology access, and whether in-person or at-home learning would be most useful.
No prior computer experience is required.
